About Us

Reputation Carries Weight

Belswick Merino and Poll Merino studs are located north of Condobolin in Central West NSW. The stud sheep are run alongside a commercial merino flock, shorthorn cattle and cereal cropping.

Belswick was founded in 1935 by RK L’Estrange with the present owners Peter and Terrie L’Estrange taking over in 1980.

Belswick is based on Uardry and Sims Uardry bloodlines with infusions from Collinsville stud during the last ten years and more recently with the addition of two rams from Glendonald in 2021.

Our Poll stud was established in 2017 with the purchase of ewes from Kamora-Netley Park, South Australia and semen from Collinsville Poll and Wallaloo Park Poll Merinos, Victoria. Rams have since been purchased from Kamora-Netley and in 2021 we purchased two rams from One Oak Poll Merinos, Jerilderie.
